Because I’ve been the patient in the waiting room. Because I’ve felt the fear of a body in crisis. Because I’ve experienced the frustration of not being believed.
And because I’ve discovered: there is always a way forward.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing is possible, even when the path feels hidden. My greatest joy is helping others uncover their own resilience and build a relationship of trust with their body and their life.
When I’m not teaching or consulting, you’ll find me:
Whether you’re a clinic looking for EDS-informed education, a person navigating complex pain, or a curious explorer ready to understand your body on a deeper level—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

I’m Dr. Anna McConville, and I know what it’s like to live in a body that feels like it’s working against you.
With over 30 years of experience in integrative physical therapy and pain neuroscience, and as someone living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and complex spinal conditions myself, I understand the delicate balance between fragility and resilience. My mission is to help people—like you, like me—find a path to stability, relief, and hope.
Through trauma-informed, body-loving practices, I guide individuals and professionals toward sustainable healing. Whether you're navigating chronic pain, hypermobility, nervous system sensitivity, or complex recovery, I believe your body deserves care that honors its intelligence.
How My Approach is Different
*Certified & Evidence-Based – I have trained with the International EDS Society and the ECHO Group, working alongside global experts in hypermobility rehabilitation, as well as gaining a post-educational Doctorate in Pain Neuroscience.
* Stability Before Strength – Unlike traditional PT, I focus on neuromuscular retraining and postural control before loading unstable joints with strength exercises.
* Pain Reduction through Alignment & Movement Education – Learn how to move efficiently and reduce micro-injuries caused by poor proprioception.
*Tailored to You – Every session is customized to your specific challenges, from joint subluxations and autonomic dysfunction (MCAS, dysautonomia) to chronic pain and fatigue.
I have been working in the holistic and integrative field for over 30 years with Neuroplasticity, self regulation and whole person care.
I would love to hear from you!
