Your Compassionate Guide to Holistic Wellness
Hello and welcome! I'm Dr Anna, your partner in navigating the intricate journey towards holistic wellness and self care. My own voyage to well-being has been a fascinating and transformative one, rooted in the realms of artistry, empathy, and psychic intuition.
Embracing Intuition, Spirituality, and Kindness.
From a young age, I've been deeply intuitive and driven by a profound sense of spirituality and have always been a highly sensitive person. These qualities have guided my path to well-being. My body's innate wisdom gently steered me towards the education and training necessary to unlock my best self and bolster my resilience, all while navigating the challenges of Ehler Danlos, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and autoimmune conditions.
A Journey Shaped by Experience
Like the ever-flowing river, I moved away from pain and discomfort and sprinted towards activities that nurtured my body and eased my mind. My journey with Ehler Danlos Syndrome (EDS) manifested as anxiety, pain, and fatigue. At the time, I didn't recognize it as a 'condition,' merely as challenges to overcome. My serendipitous career choice as a Physical Therapist became my bridge to wholeness, enabling me to live fearlessly and discover ways to thrive within my unique disability.
A Gift Shared with Others
My personal discoveries didn't remain confined to my own journey; they resonated with others facing similar struggles. In response, I created classes and even established a Pilates studio as part of my Integrative Physical Therapy Practice that I created in North Carolina, where I proudly graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill. Now, here in Minnesota, I've crafted a Virtual Care Room. While I do offer in-person sessions, I understand the unpredictability of our bodies, allowing for both virtual and physical appointments. I hold a flexible cancellation and rescheduling policy to accommodate the ebb and flow of your health. I see people in person 1-2 days a week and offer classes to create community education and connection.

My holistic wellness philosophy revolves around nurturing the mind, body, and spirit and emotions to achieve optimal health and unwavering resilience. I'm dedicated to equipping you with the resources and unwavering support required to make lasting positive changes in your life. Whether you're grappling with specific health issues like EDS, Long Covid, or simply seeking to enhance your overall well-being, I'm here to guide you.
A Journey from Mime to Healing
Before embarking on my career as a Physical Therapist, I ventured into the world of mime and clowning. It was a path deeply rooted in creativity and self-expression. Later, my journey led me to building an Integrative Practice in North Carolina, specializing in the treatment of ME/CFS and various chronic conditions. Here,as a solo Private practice business owner, I emerged as an advocate for individuals with invisible illnesses, chronic pain, and the intricate body-mind care essential for thriving within a disability.
A Quest for Solutions Beyond Tradition
In my 30s, I began to notice the challenges my body was presenting. Though I hadn't been officially diagnosed with a disability, I was simply told that my body had somehow betrayed me, and I should learn to live with it. I was encouraged to apply for disabiity benefits.
This revelation motivated me to seek answers. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, earning certifications in diverse modalities to manage pain, enhance functionality, and live my best life. My symptoms fell outside the realms of traditional medicine, prompting me to research and educate myself in powerful therapies that kept me active, employed, and active in my life.
Sustainability: The Key to Success
Success in well-being hinges on sustainability. I draw inspiration from the principles of B.J. Fogg and James Clear, identifying barriers and crafting habits rooted in science, brain chemicals like dopamine, and behavior modification techniques that radiate kindness and self-love. Together, we will unearth your unique strengths, embody your intuitive wisdom, and train your nervous system to become more aware, regulated, resilient, and heart-centered. This is the essence of a self-care model of healing. We all possess a wellspring of self-healing within, and I am here to guide you on this transformative path.
A Beautiful Life in Minnesota
I returned to the embrace of Minnesota, where I have family and found love with my partner, Steve, an artist. In addition to my wellness journey, I've authored one book and am currently crafting a series encompassing fiction, poetry, and essays, woven with a dash of fiber art. Our beloved canine companion, Cedar, accompanies us on our adventures as we savor the beauty of nature in every season.
